Favourites From London Fashion Week

I always look forward to London Fashion Week as the catwalks there are always absolutely incredible. The Autumn/Winter catwalks are always my favourites as I tend to prefer the styles and pieces they have however I loved this current fashion week as I saw so many gorgeous pieces for spring and summer.

Tommy Hilfiger-
This catwalk was on of my favourites from fashion week, First of all I loved the set of the show as there was a constant flow of models walking through and when all the models had walked down the main stage they carried on to walk around the show so it ended up with all the models walking around together which looked really impressive. There was multiple levels at the show which were all designed in circles whee the models would walk round which is completely different to the usual catwalks but worked really well.
The clothes that were on the catwalk were incredible, there was a range of jumpers and trousers in the classic Tommy colours and prints. One of my favourites from the show was the gorgeous Black Jumper Dress that Bella Hadid wore, it had a sliver circle motif in the centre with blue writing around as well as red detailing on the sleeve which suited it perfectly. She also wore this with black-knee-high socks which were a re-occurring item throughout the catwalk (which I actually really like but couldn’t pull off) and suede boots which had a silver buckle over.
I also loved what Georgia May Jagger wore as she looked stunning, she was wearing a Burgandy Sweater which had ‘Hilfiger’ on with an embroidered bird on which suited her really well. As well as she was wearing a Frayed Tartan Skirt which was made up of red, blue and black shades which suited the look really well and tartan was seen a lot on the catwalk and I actually really liked it and it suited all the looks.
My last favourite look from the Tommy show was worn by Grace Elizabeth who looked incredible wearing a layer top combo. She was wearing a Tight Red Turtle Neck Top with dark navy stripes down the sleeves and she was wearing a Crop White Gigi top layered over and I love this layered look as both pieces are quite simple but together they give lots of detail.

Versace-

I’m sure most of you saw the original supermodels on the catwalk and lots of the models there as the Versace catwalk
I saw so many fabulous pictures from the show and stunning outfits that I had to mention in this post. One of my favourites had to be the Classic Versace Print Dress worn by Bella Hadid which was a strapless dress with a tight upper half and a structured skirt. Bella wore this with a crop denim jacket which goes so so well with the dress as well as a black bag with a Versace patterned tie on. I loved this whole look as it was elegant but the denim jacket gave it more of a casual feel and this look was probably my favourite from Versace’s S/S catwalk.
Another piece that caught my eye was probably one of the most ‘simple’ pieces that was shown and was this Low Cut Black Dress which had gold eyelets around the neck hem and straps which gave lots of detail to the simple skater dress as well as the gold choker and the gold detailing on the shoes matched perfectly and gave more glam to the outfit.

Another section that I loved from the catwalk was all the pastel colours as I hadn’t seen many pastel shades recently but Versace pulled all the looks off so well. One of my favourites which I’m not sure who it was worn by, was this Pink Material Structured Shorts with a gold chain on the chunky belt. Which was combined with a tight white top and a Pink Material Blazer. I love the pink with the gold detailing on the belt, bag and shoes as it kept the outfit together and looked quite minimalistic whilst having detail. And with the matching Pink Cap it gave the look a more casual feel and looked very chic.

Emilio de la Morena-

This catwalk featured block colours, ruffles and tartan prints and I think their whole Spring/Summer collection was absolutely gorgeous. I picked out my two favourite looks from the catwalk which was actually quite difficult as I loved all the pieces. One of my first favourites was a look with these gorgeous Pink Super Wide Leg Culottes which had a blue ruffle around the waist which matched the top and these pink culottes make such a statement in what looks like a satin material and are actually a simple piece with little detail. The top worn with these was a Dark Navy Elasticated Bandeau which had small lace ruffles on the top and bottom hems which looked gorgeous. And then the look was finished off with Pink Velvet Heels which went really well with the pink and navy.
My second favourite look was this Pink and Blue Checked Wrap Skirt which looked like a wool material which was paired with a Light Pink Satin Crop Jacket which looked really elegant. As well as Green Velvet Heels and Grey socks which sounds ridiculous but worked really well and the socks and heels look was a reoccurring look in this show which weirdly worked?!

So these were my three favourite catwalks from London Fashion Week and I have to say this has probably been one of my favourite fashion weeks as I’ve seen so many gorgeous styles and there hasn’t been one show that I wan’t obsessing over.
What was one of your favourite shows?
